Description
The article analyses the current issues related to the organization, conduct and methodological support of environmental expertise in the context of armed aggression. It is established that the military impact on the environment has adjusted the tasks of forensic environmental expertise, for which no forensic experts are currently trained. It is revealed that the provisions of the Governmental Procedure contain an attempt to combine property objects with environmental objects which have suffered losses, damage and losses, but this issue is not resolved not only at the conceptual but also at the methodological level. The author substantiates the need for legal regulation of relations of interaction between executive authorities, the Specialized Environmental Prosecutor's Office, subjects of forensic expert activity, public environmental organizations and non-governmental experts. The author suggests that in the process of improving the scientific and methodological support for determining environmental damage and losses, international standards should be used and harmonized at the national level.
