Webinar: What is digital IUPAC? Tools for an increasingly digital research culture

  • 1. CCDC
  • 2. Cornell University, NY, US
  • 3. IUPAC

Description

Description:

Fast forward not so far into the future where electronic laboratory notebooks are used widely and research data are published with your work; where artificial intelligence and machine learning applications like chatGPT can suck up that data into new discoveries.

We had a conversation among experts in the chemical data management field with chemists and chemical data users about:

  • Managing and sharing research data in the cloud (or "as digital data")

  • Standards, identifiers, metadata in a FAIR world

  • Emerging resources to help manage/clean/prep/check your data

* This webinar was held on May 31st, 2023, 12 pm EST by ChemVoices. ChemVoices is a platform created as a partnership between the IUPAC and the IYCN to discuss early career chemists issues which became recently a platform for IUPAC communication in general. Special thanks to Dr. Lori Ferrins for facilitating this event!
