Scopula cajanderi sajanensis (Prout, 1935): Viidalepp, 1976: 849; 1996: 55; Berlov & Berlov, 2006: 102.

Scopula cajanderi: Mironov et al., 2008: 206 (region 26, region 27: “?”); Beljaev & Mironov, 2019: 278.

Material examined. Buryatia: Mondy, 1950–2300 m.a.s.l., 18.VII.2013, 2 ♁, 1 ♀; same loc., 19.VII.2013, 4 ♁ (GenBank ID: MZ148348), I. Makhov; “Irkut”, no date, 5 ♁; “Tunka”, no date, 1 ♁, 1 ♀, (unknown collector) [ZIN]. Altai Republic: SE Altai, 50 km E of Kosh-Agach, 4 km NW of Saylyugem Mt., h=2300–2400, alpine meadow, 14.VII.1996, 1 ♀, A. & R. Dudko [ISEA].

Distribution. Holarctic, arctic alpine. European north-eastern region, Polar Urals, Taimyr peninsula, Altai Republic, Republic of Buryatia, Zabaikalsky Kray, NW and NE Yakutia, Chukotka, Magadanskaya Oblast, Amurskaya Oblast. Outside Russia: N Mongolia, N America (NW).

Hostplants: unknown.
