Distribution. Euro–Siberian, subboreal. From Kaliningradskaya Oblast and Caucasus to Irkutskaya Oblast and S Yakutia. Outside Russia in Europe, Turkey, Lebanon, Transcaucasia, N Iran.

Hostplants: deciduous trees: Betula, Prunus, Crataegus; shrubs and herbs (Rumex, Achillea, Ptarmica, Artemisia, Thymus, Solidago, Galium, Anemone, Hypericum, Campanula, Artemisia, Bupleurum) (Hausmann 2001).
