Description

Feedback has had a revolutionary influence in practically all areas where it has been used and will continue to do so; it desires a simple and effective feature of a control algorithm. The emerging features of automatic tuning have greatly simplified the use of PID controller; a nonlinear optimization technique based on sequential quadratic programming (SQP) technique is used for obtaining the tuning parameters of the PID controller. The proposed PID tuning based on SQP technique shows superiority and effectiveness in controlling stable and unstable nonlinear systems.
