WORLD ARCHAEO-GEOPHYSICS is the first book providing country-based retrospectives on the development of the application of
geophysics in archaeological investigation, sampling five continents. It is the product of the collective efforts of experts in academic and cultural heritage management sectors, working in 18 countries (Figure 1). These experts gathered to reflect on their experiences and produced the overviews included in this volume to share with the thriving community in archaeological geophysics.
