Distribution. Transpalaearctic, temperate. Throughout the Russian territory from Kaliningradskaya Oblast to Primorye and Sakhalin Isl., Kamchatka and northern part of Khabarovsky Kray. Outside Russia in N Africa, Europe, Lebanon, Turkey, Transcaucasia, N Iran, Afghanistan, W Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, NE China, N Korea.
Hostplants: flaccid leaves of different herbs (Rumex, Ononis, Lithospermum, Sonchus, Viola, Stellaria, Lysimachia, Galium, Thymus, Chenopodium), and shrubs (Vaccinium, Rubus, Rosa, Prunus) (Beljaev 2016).
