Sales Forecasting using Machine Learning
Description
Abstract—Future sales are projected using a system called sales forecasting. It can be used to establish benchmarks, assess the incremental effects of newinitiatives, allocate resources in line with anticipated demand, and forecast upcoming budgets.Making projections based on historical time-stamped sales data is known as sales forecasting. SARIMA and Exponential Smoothing are usedin this study's predictions with a dataset of retail sales history. The assessment results indicate that the SARIMA is a suitable model for use in future forecasting.
