The World Health Organization (WHO) is one of the specialized agencies of the United Nations.It provides international relations of health organizations at the global level, seeks to address the health of the world's population, to eliminate existing problems in this area. It is one of the leading forces in health diplomacy.WHO tracks regional and global health conditions and trends, bringing together all disease and health information systems. Azerbaijan also closely cooperates with the WHO.This cooperation first manifests itself in the sessions of the World Health Assembly, the WHO Executive Board, the WHO Regional Office for Europe, as well as the participation of relevant delegations of the Republic of Azerbaijan in WHO meetings during the year and official visits of WHO representatives to Azerbaijan in different years.
