Web Visualization

In this panel presentation, four developers with exhaustive experience developing and maintaining visualization solutions will describe four frameworks. These include (1) itkwidgets, interactive web widgets to visualize images, point sets, and meshes in 2D and 3D, (2) trame, a web framework that weaves together open source components into customized visual analytics easily using Python language, (3) VolView, a web-based open source radiological viewer to interactively visualize DICOM data in 3D and (4) SlicerJupyter, an extension for 3D Slicer that allows the desktop application to be interactively used from a Jupyter notebook. The emphasis will be on describing each framework and the type of visualization challenges they best address.
