The basic tourist and recreational framework of Russia and the prospects of its development

The article examines and details the concept of the support tourist and recreational framework (STRF) of the territory as a linear-nodal system of spatial organization of tourism. The main elements of STRF, their role and functions, and interaction features are characterized. The features of the organization and functioning of the STRF of different hierarchical levels (local, regional, national) are also analyzed. Seven types of support tourist and recreational framework are also justified. Their advantages and disadvantages are characterized. The modern STRF of Russia at the national and regional level is considered and modern trends of its development are revealed.
