Description

The results of the investigations on the effects of various concentrations of synthetic antioxidants (SA) -
ionol and 2,6 di-tret-butylphenol on the population of Dunaliella cells under the conditions of low-tem-
perature stress have been presented. It was identified that modification of (SA) cells within 24 hours under
the conditions of low-temperature stress increased (low concentrations of SA) and then decreased amount of
synthesized carotenoids, also increased catalase activity and decreased the POL process. Dunaliella cells,
modified (SA) under the conditions of low-temperature stress, were found to show higher functional stability
against the influence of various acute doses of UV-B radiation.
