Host and locality in Australia: Anas rhyncotis, Queensland; Anas superciliosa, Cherbourg, Queensland (Calder 1986).

Current name of host: Australian shoveler, Spatula rhynchotis (Latham, 1801); Pacific Black Duck, Anas superciliosa Gmelin, 1789 (Anseriformes: Anatidae).
