Host and locality in Australia: silver gull Larus novaehollandiae, Half Tide, near Sarina (Domrow 1965; 1992); Whimbrel, Numenius phaeopus, Tin Can Bay, Queensland; common sandpiper, Australia; eastern curlew, Tin Can Bay, Queensland (Domrow 1969).

Current name of host: Silver Gull, Chroicocephalus novaehollandiae (Stephens, 1826) (Charadriiformes: Laridae); Eurasian Whimbrel, Numenius phaeopus (Linnaeus, 1758), Common Sandpiper, Actitis hypoleucos (Linnaeus, 1758); Far Eastern Curlew, Numenius madagascariensis (Linnaeus, 1766) (Charadriiformes: Scolopacidae).
