Agriculture in Telangana: From Plight to Pride

In less than ten years, the Telangana agriculture sector has considerably improved. The barren land of Telangana has turned green. The growth of gross value added at constant prices from agriculture from 2015-16 to 2021-22 is 7.4 per cent in contrast to the Indian growth rate of 4 per cent (Sri Harish, 2023). Additionally, the area under cultivation has risen from 131.33 lakh acres in 2014-15 to 215.37 lakh acres in 2021-22 (Sri Harish, 2023).
