The New Rowanberry (Sorbus L.) Species For The Flora Of the Azerbaijan Republic

Sorbus albovii Zinserl., S. armen ya Hedl., S. buschiana Zinserl., S. caucasica Zinserl., S. fedorovii
Zaikonn., S. kus-netzovii Zinserl., S. migarica Zinserl. and S. tamamschjanae Gabr species new for the flora
of the Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic were revealed as a result of the researches and
based on the analysis of the materials collected during scientific expeditions and literature data. The article
also provides data on synonyms of species and information about the patterns of their distribution on high-
altitude zones, biotopes and the timing of flowering and fruiting.
