FROM NO SELF TO NEW SELF IN THE LIGHT OF J KRISHNAMURTI
Creators
Description
In this paper, we bring out the notion of self in J Krishnamurti’s philosophy. He believes that there is no metaphysical self. He talks about complete action where the self does not exist in the action, only action is done without the self.
Furthermore, he also believes that human beings are engaged agents in society who are constantly engaged in action in the society. The question arises, whom is the one doing the action? Is he/she not the person or entity which we can call as Self? This paper focuses on the concept of no-self and the new self in the philosophy of J Krishnamurti.
