The .zip archive contains 8 MATLAB scripts (.m) which have been collectively used to generate results, graphical representations and statistical analyses of the original publication "Longitudinal tracking of acute kidney injury reveals injury propagation along the nephron" (at the time of upload, available as preprint: https://assets.researchsquare.com/files/rs-2487613/v1/b572a9806a4cead28ba6331d.pdf?c=1674600752).

The purpose of uploading the code is to share the analytical tools used by the authors to generate the results presented in the original paper and to easen the analytical work of researchers whom may be interested in reproducing the analyses presented in the publication.

Each script is provided with comments and documentations which, we believe, will allow an entry-level MATLAB user to understand, modify, and perform at need each numerical analysis, statistical test and plot showed in the publication.

The analytical codeset is designed based on a specific table file (.xlsx format) named "SourceData", which contains the raw numerical information extracted by the authors as described in the Materials and Methods section of the original paper. The file "SourceData.xlsx" and a ReadMe file "SourceData_ReadMe.docx" have been provided by the authors to Nature Communication and are available from download from the online version of the paper. The file "SourceData_ReadMe.docx" contains instructions and recommendation on how to use the analytical codeset provided in this file.
