Digitalised dry heathlands on historical Ferraris Map of Flanders

Dataset description
Dataset contains GIS vector layers with the polygons of regions, in the Esri shapefile format. Polygons have been drawn manually using QGIS software according to the borders of paths and roads, capturing schematic patterns of dry heathland from De Coene et al. (2012).
CRS: EPSG:3857 - WGS 84 / Pseudo-Mercator
Charset Encoding: UTF-8
Notes
I believe this information can be handy in terms of restoration ecology. More work should be done in some areas. Some polygons should be redrawn, wet heathland patches should be extracted in some polygons. However, most digitalising of dry heathlands patches is finished.
