Description
Chronic pain and Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) are widespread and disabling conditions with a negative psychological, biological, and social impact on people's lives. PTSD and chronic pain are often correlated, adversely impacting the progression of both disorders. Understanding the common mechanisms, etiology and symptoms is essential for choosing the right treatment strategy to enable clinicians to help patients suffering from chronic pain and PTSD.
