Type locality: Ceylon [Sri Lanka], Kelani Valley
Distribution. Indian records: Calcutta (Moore 1888), Bengal, Calcutta (Hampson 1896a), India (Sun & Li 2009), Central Himalaya (Sanyal et al. 2018). Global records: Ceylon (Hampson 1896a), China (Yunan), Ceylon, Pakistan (Sun & Li 2009).
