A STUDY OF IMPORTANCE OF LISTENING SKILLS AMONG UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS TO IMPROVE THE SCALE OF RESULTS

Skills are something person is not born with. But skills can be developed gradually throughout the life. Student
phase in person’s life gives a much wider scope to enhance the skills possessed by the person. Good listening
are very basic skills every student must have. Greater the listening skills, greater the score in exams. Besides it
helps to develop the retention capabilities among students. Now a days it can be noticed that students have
numerous distraction which leads to underdeveloped listening skills in their academics and reflects on their
results. Students required to enhance their ability to listen more and be interactive in classrooms. Role of parents
and educational institution is vital as well to make students develop their listening skills.
