Description

Among the challenges presented in this study as the main ones faced by administrators are: investment and adaptation, flexibility and decentralization, human-machine interaction and security and privacy. In addition to those that are also challenges for school managers, they face others, which include: stimulating skills and abilities, motivating the faculty, effective communication, including parents in the school routine, containing school dropouts and facing bullying situations. and cyberbullying. This study aimed to list the main challenges of Sec. XXI, using exploratory bibliographical research as a methodology, as well as pedagogical praxis as a means of dialogue between theory, practice and reflection. As a result, in addition to identifying the challenges already faced by managers in general, this research identified other challenges arising from school management, considering the ability to keep administrative and pedagogical issues in balance, since pedagogical management is closely linked related to the core activity of the school, demanding administrative and pedagogical technical skills from the director at the same time, without forgetting information and communication technologies, in order to know how to apply them assertively within the school community.
