Worship in the Poetry of Bharathiyar / பாரதியார் கவிதைகளில் வழிபாடுகள்

Description

Worship is the act of praying to the Lord in order to fulfill the intention of a human being in his mind. This form of worship is a practice that has been followed by our people since the Sangam period till today. It can be seen from Sangam literature that the people of Sangam period used to worship nature, trees and animals. The early people started worshiping the Lord before doing any work. Our people used to worship Goddess Kali before going to war. Similarly, this review examines the manner in which the Bharatiyas worshiped and worshiped gods like Kali, Shakti, Ganesha and Lord Muruga in their poems. The purpose of this study is to explore and explain the great place of worship in Indian poetry.
