Quantitative Composition of Macrozoobenthos in Rivers Alindjachay and Gilanchay

Description

In the formation of the general biomass of macrozoobenthos in the rivers Alinjacay and Gilanchay, the
superiority belongs to the characteristic inhabitants of the liteorophilic and phytophophilous biocenoses
amphipods, larvae of the apiaries, caddis flies and simulides. The comparison has shown that the rives do
not significantly differ from each other in the number of individuals and the biomass of macrobenthic
organisms. İn both river systems and their tributaries. quantitative indices of larvae of water-air insects are
distinguished by relative constancy and similarity The maximum development of the simulid larvae occurs
in the spring-summer months, before the flood period and the wam autumn months. The speed of the river
flow biotopes formed depending on it and changes durng the year of water consumption the main abiotie
factors that determine the structure of rheophilic animal groups and their quantitative development
