HARMONIZATION OF ARCHITECTURAL SPACES IN MODERN UNIVERSITY CAMPUSES

Abstract

A systematization and analysis of the experience of successful reconstruction of university campuses with architectural structures in the style of modernism and postmodernism was done. It is shown that harmony in such a diverse architectural environment is most successfully achieved by means of landscape architecture through the creation of an architectural space with features of both modernism and postmodernism with the predominance of less laconic, but more emotionally expressive postmodernism. This conclusion was approved during the creating a landscape design of the campus of the ESC "Institute of Biology and Medicine" of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, built in the style of modernism, in the entrance group of which there are postmodern complex of buildings Standard one and Black one.

Анотація

Здійснено систематизацію та аналіз досвіду успішної реконструкції університетських кампусів з архітектурними спорудами, зведеними в стилі модернізм та постмодернізм. Показано, що гармонія в такому різностильовому архітектурному оточенні найуспішніше досягається засобами ландшафтної архітектури через створення архітектурного простору з ознаками як модернізму, так і постмодернізму з превалюванням менш лаконічного, проте емоційно виразнішого постмодернізму. Цей висновок пройшов апробацію в ході ландшафтного проєктування кампусу Навчально-наукового центру «Інститут біології та медицини» Київського національного університету імені Тараса Шевченка, зведеного в стилі модернізм, у вхідній групі якого присутні постмодерністські комплекси Standard one і Black one.
