Description
This study was conducted to determine the domain of entrepreneurial orientation that best influences the risky financial behavior of small and medium enterprise managers. The study used quantitative, non-experimental research design employing the correlational technique. The respondents of the study were 106 managers or owners of small and medium enterprises selected through random approach. An adapted and contextualized structured questionnaires were deployed to measure and establish the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and risky financial behavior. Moreover, the mean, Pearson r, and regression were used as statistical tools. Results of the study showed that the levels of entrepreneurial orientation and risky financial behavior of managers were high. Also, the data revealed that entrepreneurial orientation has a significant relationship with risky financial behavior of SME managers. When regressed, it was found that observed variables of entrepreneurial orientation, innovativeness, proactiveness, and risk-taking statistically influence the risky financial behavior of SME managers.
