MODERN THERAPY OF ANXIETY-DEPRESSIVE DISORDERS IN PATIENTS WITH CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES AFTER COVID-19

Description

The new coronavirus, named SARS-CoV-2, has spread rapidly in the human population. Although the main manifestation of the disease is the defeat of the respiratory system, cardiovascular complications also often develop. Adverse cardiovascular complications such as myocarditis, acute myocardial infarction and heart failure have been reported in patients with COVID-19. It should also be noted that patients with chronic cardiovascular diseases have a worse prognosis for the course and outcome of the disease. Currently, there are no established methods for the diagnosis and treatment of damage to the cardiovascular system. This review considers some aspects of the pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders in patients with diseases of the cardiovascular system who have undergone COVID-19.
