Anwendung einer Digitalisierungscheckliste auf einen fiktiven Bestand

Abstract:
Die Projektarbeit zeigt anhand eines fiktiven Bestandes exemplarisch, wie ein Digitalisierungsvorhaben mithilfe der Digitalisierungscheckliste nach Weymann et al. geplant und durchgeführt werden kann. Der Bestand – ein fiktiver Teilnachlass – umfasst verschiedene Materialien und Formate, an denen unterschiedliche Anforderungen an die konservatorische Behandlung, die Scantechnik und die Annotation gezeigt werden können. Als aufnehmende Institution wird – ebenfalls fiktiv – das Exilarchiv 1933–1945 der Deutschen Nationalbibliothek angenommen

Die Projektarbeit wurde im Rahmen des Moduls DIS 26b2 »Digitalisierung und Langzeitarchivierung« im Studiengang Data & Information Science an der Fakultät für Informationswissenschaften der Technischen Hochschule Köln erstellt. 

Abstract (english):
The project report uses a fictitious collection as an example to showcase how a digitization project can be planned and carried out with the help of the digitization checklist according to Weymann et al. The collection - a fictitious partial estate - comprises various materials and formats, which can be used to demonstrate different requirements for conservation treatment, scanning technology and annotation. The receiving institution is assumed to be - also fictitiously - the Exile Archive 1933-1945 of the German National Library.

The project work was carried out as part of the DIS 26b2 module "Digitization and Long-Term Archiving" in the Data & Information Science program at the Faculty of Information Science at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences.
