DEVELOPMENT TENDENCIES OF ROTARY DRIVES AUTOMATIC CONCRETE MIXERS

An analysis of the use of drives for rotating the drums of concrete mixers was carried out, in particular, the trend of transition from mechanical drives to hydraulic fluid power with the use of the main to auxiliary engine, and the assimilation of electric drives. Considered the possibilities of using high-torque low-speed radial-piston hydraulic motors instead of axial-piston ones with planetary gearboxes. The technical level of such hydraulic drives is assessed.
