The dataset contains a socio-economic analysis based on the operation of a mussel farm in Sweden. The production system has the potential to operate offshore and produce increased volumes of biomass per unit of space. The socio-economic metrics calculated include level of employment, gross value added and ripple effects of the production, at 2 different scenarios of scaled up production.
