PART 1: INTRODUCTION TO THE CHRONOLOGY OF THE DISCOVERY, DEVELOPMENT, AND CHRISTIANIZATION OF FLORIDA IN THE 16TH CENTURY/ПОЛНАЯ ХРОНОЛОГИЯ ОТКРЫТИЯ И ОСВОЕНИЯ ФЛОРИДЫ В XVI ВЕКЕ. Часть 1. ВВЕДЕНИЕ В ХРОНОЛОГИЮ ОТКРЫТИЯ, ОСВОЕНИЯ И ХРИСТИАНИЗАЦИИ ФЛОРИДЫ В XVI ВЕКЕ.

Abstract
Aim. The purpose of the article is to organize for the first time a complete chronology of the discovery, development and attempts to Christianize the territory of Spanish Florida in the 16th century based on historical facts available before 2022, collected from various sources in different parts of the world.
Methodology. Procedure and methods of research. The author analyzes the corpus of historical sources and identifies causal relationships between the events of the discovery and development of Florida and the events in Europe and the West Indies, which were not previously reflected or were only partially reflected due to the discrepancy of informative sources. The methodological basis was the principles of historicism, objectivity and consistency.
Results. The result of the investigation. The result of the study was the history of the discovery, development and Christianization of Florida, built in chronological order and for the first time divided into several important stages due to the understanding of the interrelated processes that took place in the New and Old World.
Research implications. The theoretical/practical significance of the work lies in the fact that for the first time in Russian historical science, the chronology of events and cause-and-effect relationships on the discovery, development, and Christianization of Florida in the 16th century is presented in such detail. The publication of this work makes it possible to conduct a special course on the discovery and development of Florida from the 1500s to the 1590s, pointing out the causal relationships and the impact of events in different parts of the world.
The created chronology is optimally convenient for classification and is optimal for teaching and studying material at universities and schools.

Целью статьи является организация хронологии открытия и освоения территории Испанской Флориды в XVI веке на основе имеющихся на 2022 год исторических фактов, собранных из различных источников в разных частях мира. Также представленная статья показывает точку зрения христианского мира в необходимости освоения данного региона на основе дальнейшей христианизации населения новых открытых на Западе земель после падения христианского Константинополя в 1483 году и дальнейшего исчезновения Восточной части Христианского Мира в результате завоеваний и расширения Османской Империи.
