Description
The main goal of the research is to examine the relationship between the dimensions of organizational commitment and the turnover intention among employees in Serbia. The research was conducted among 234 employees in companies engaged in tourism and hospitality. The structured questionnaire was used and distributed during October 2021. The results of the research show that the variables of turnover intention and the dimensions of organizational commitment are in a statistically very significant negative correlation. The paper finds a significant and strong relationship between two of the dimensions of organizational commitment i.e. affective and continuance commitment; and turnover intention of employees in Serbia. However, no significant relationship was found between the normative commitment and turnover intention. The paper adds existing knowledge about the organizational commitment as the antecedents of turnover intention.
