Impact assessment report (second version)

Authors/Creators

Description

This document presents an assessment related to the societal, ethical and legal aspects (described within D9.3) that could affect the PILOTING technological developments and their future exploitation. This SoEL assessment is composed of three steps: identification, analysis and evaluation/treatment. The identification step has been performed using questionnaires and gathering answers from PILOTING end-users and consultation with an external SoEL expert. After analysis of the different inputs, several SoEL related risks have been identified. Then, a contingency plan has been defined per risk. This analysis and contingency plans have been presented, updated and agreed with PILOTING IEC (Industrial Executive Committee).
On the other hand, this deliverable also reviewed the original SoEL risks (defined in D9.2) focused on the activities to be developed during the project. Then, it is described how the project consortium has applied the different contingency plans defined for the different SoEL risks. Moreover, this deliverable also explains how the consortium have fulfilled the identified SoEL aspects when executing the PILOTING pilot experiments.
