CHEMICAL COMPOSITION AND MEDICINAL PROPERTIES IN THE PAPAYA (CARICA PAPAYA L.) PLANT

Medicinal properties of natural medicinal plants have wide pharmacological significance. We know that papaya (Carica papaya L.) is a medicinal plant used in modern and traditional medicine and food industry. It is known from the research carried out in recent years in the world that significant progress has been made in the use of biologically active substances contained in papaya for medicinal purposes. In addition, this medicinal plant is a source of useful nutritional natural products as a biologically active supplement. In this article, a review of the latest scientific research on the medicinal properties of Carica papaya is highlighted.
