Description

Heinrich Hermann Robert Koch (1843–1910) a German physician and microbiologist, regarded together with Louis Pasteur as one of the main founders of modern bacteriology, discovered  the specific causative agents of deadly infectious diseases including tuberculosis, cholera (originally discovered by Filippo Pacini in 1854), and anthrax.
