On the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in the form of national standards, international standards can be applied and recognized as necessary, in particular the standards of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (with the designation "GOST"), including state standards. Use by the Commonwealth States in order to ensure more effective cooperation of the organizations of these countries.
