Four-legged mite pests (Acarina: Tetrapodili) of nut tress (Juglans regia L.) in the Ganja-Gazakh economical-geographical region

In 2014 -2017 years the fauna and bioecological peculiarities of some four – legged mites - pests infecting nut tress in forests of different districts and villages of the Ganja – Gazakh economical-geographical region, were investigated. Information was obtained about 3 families (Eriophyidae, Phyllocoptidae, Rhyncaphytoptidae) and 6 genera (Aceria, Eriophyes, Tegonotus, Anthocoptes, Vasates, Oxypleurites) and the number and spread of the Aceria species were found to prevail. The research revealed 4 species of gall mite pests of nut trees and 3 (Aceria erinea, Anthocoptes striatus, Vasates unguiculatus) of them were reported for the first time for the fauna of Azerbaijan.
