DISCOURSE ANALYSIS

Abstract: This article highlights the issue of modern understanding of such key concepts of linguistics as "language" and "speech". Due to the fact that at each stage of the formation and development of linguistics, the content of these concepts has changed, the actual interpretation of the relationship between "language" and "speech", on the one hand, is based on previous ideas of linguists, on the other hand, acquires new shades of understanding.
