SCIENTIFIC APPROACHES TO THE LANGUAGE PICTURE OF THE WORLD

Information about the linguistic picture of the world is recorded in the scientific research of scientists from the early times of linguistics. This article highlights the first views of representatives of science on the linguistic picture of the world, as well as scientific approaches and opinions of linguists to date. It also describes the relationship between the linguistic picture and the cognitive picture of the world, as well as their role in word formation.
