Hypertension is a chronic disease that affects various systems of the body, characterized by an increase in blood pressure above normal, the most common disease of the cardiovascular system. The article presents data discussing the degree of participation of nursing staff in the development of diseases with arterial hypertension. The issue of spreading the expanding role of nursing staff and the use of evidence-based nursing practice in developing commercial programs to combat hypertension was discussed.
