Study of flavonoids of dwarf elderberry (Sambucus ebulus L.)

Description
The qualitative composition and content of flavonoids in the leaves, flowers and roots of dwarf elderberry collected in 2019 in the phase of full flowering in the village of Mukhakh of the Zakatala region of Azerbaijan were studied. It has been established that various plant organs differ in the composition and content of flavonoids. The leaves are characterized by a high content of flavonoids (1.8% air-dry weight) and component composition (6 components). Four identified flavonoids were isolated from plants and they were identified as quercetin, isoramnetin, rutin and narcissin.
