Genus Linognathus Enderlein, 1905

Total number of species in genus: 53.

Type species: Linognathus setosus (von Olfers, 1816).

Hosts: Artiodactyla (Bovidae, Cervidae, Giraffidae); Carnivora (Canidae).

Distribution: Cosmopolitan except Antarctica.
