Recorded Distribution: MEXICO: Jalisco — Mascota, Cocula, Cabo Corrientes, Zacoalco de Torres, Talpa de Allende, Mazamitla, Tonaya, Autlán de Navarro, Casimiro Castillo, Tecalitlán, Nayarit — El Nayar, Tepic, Santa María del Oro, Ahuacatlán, Sinaloa — Concordia, Zacatecas — Trinidad García de la Cadena.

Altitude: from 344 to 2235 m a.s.l.

Biomes: Tropical & Subtropical Coniferous Forests, Tropical & Subtropical Dry Broadleaf Forests.

Ecorregions: NEARCTIC: Sierra Madre Occidental pine-oak forests, Sinaloan dry forests; NEOTROPIC: Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt pine-oak forests, Sinaloan dry forests, Jalisco dry forests.

Predicted distribution: This species distributes from 18.18° to 26.51° latitude in an area of 95,898 Km2. Its predicted distribution has a mean annual temperature of 18.65-22.8° C with a maximum difference of temperature of 20.07° C during the year and mean precipitation of 943-1206 mm per year.
