Magnetospheric accretion in T Tauri stars

This presentation focuses on the current status of and challenges related to the magnetospheric accretion process in young stars. It also highlights recent efforts to characterize structure and dynamics of the magnetic star-disk interaction region from an observational approach combining various techniques (e.g. spectropolarimetry, interferometry, high-resolution spectroscopy, multi-color photometry) over a wide wavelength range, and the need for complementary modeling tools, including MHD and radiative transfer model, to interpret the observations.
