Description

ABSTRACT:
Art and literature have materialized the fact that women have been oppressed and denied rights for thousands of years. Migration has been happening all over the world in every era. The war situation in Eelam in recent times, the poor life that has happened because of it, and the migration that has happened as a result of that bad life, are worthy of attention. History forced them to live as refugees without any means of survival in their own land. They consoled themselves by expressing their sufferings in their country and in the country they went to live in poems. It is information technology that unites them. Diaspora poetry was created as one of such activities. They are expressing the hardships of life in their native country and the experiences of migration through literary works. The social condition of the diaspora was brought to light by the arrival of female poets in particular. Poems based on women are one of such events. This article explores how the feminism expressed by Eelam women poets is recorded in diaspora poetry.
