Alismobates galapagoensis Pfingstl & Schatz, 2017

Distribution: Ecuador.

Records in Ecuador: Galápagos (Islas: Bartolobé, Santa Cruz, San Cristobal, Isabela).

Habitat: Isla Bartolomé: mangroves near Pinnacle Rock; littoral zone; leaf litter, sand, mud and moss under Maytenus octogona, Batis maritima and Sesuvium edmonstonei. Isla Santa Cruz: divine’s Bay; littoral zone; algae from rocks and mangrove roots (Rhizophora mangle). Isla San Cristóbal: south of wreck Bay; littoral zone; decayed leaf litter from Sesuvium portulacastrum, Avicennia germinans and Laguncularia racemose. Isla Isabela: Punta García, north of Volcan Alcedo; arid zone; leaf litter and soil under Bursera graveolens, Cordia lutea and C. leucophlyctis.
