Torpacarus omittens galapagensis Schatz, 1994
Distribution: Neotropical.
Records in Ecuador: Galápagos (Islas: Pinzón, Floreana).
Habitat: Isla Pinzon: Central valley, under Acacia macrantha, Prosopis juliflora, Croton scouleri, in moist, decayed leaf litter and humus; under Scalesia incisa in moist leaf and wood litter. Isla Floreana: cultivated area north of Cerro Pajas, under Kalanehoe pinnata, in moist, dead and partially-decayed leaf litter. Arid and moist zone.
