The paper is devoted to analysis of questions of application of PE lessons in educational practice in order to increase the efficiency of learning the educational material. The concept of the PE minute is given, its key features associated with an increase in the level of motivation, providing a child's distraction from the current activity with the transfer of attention to a new type of activity, stress relief opportunities, etc., are emphasized. Two typical ways of introducing PE minutes into the learning process are presented: according to the results of observation of the state of fatigue of a pupil and the interval method. The results of the analysis show that the total loss of time for physical recess will not exceed a few minutes, while providing the effect of several times the potential to spend time.
