Description

Tissues derive ATP from two pathways: glycolysis and the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle coupled to the electron transport chain. Most energy production in mammals is via TCA metabolism. We here present the code that enables a model-based calculation of tissue-specific TCA rates from tracer infusion experiments as presented in the paper: “Slow TCA flux and ATP production in primary solid tumours but not metastasis” (reference to be updated upon publication)
